Group exhibition Vietnam-Israel

Women painters, painted women

A first-ever group exhibition featuring works of Israeli and Vietnamese painters.

From the Israeli Embassy website:

The exhibition includes 42 works of 10 painters from Israel and Vietnam in a variety of techniques and styles – painting on paper, woodcut prints, photography, manipulated photography, installation and lacquer painting on wood. The common theme to all is their focus on women.

Curated by Raquelle Azran, an Israeli collector, curator and gallerist of Vietnamese contemporary fine art.

More info on the Israeli Embassy website, including a link to a downlaodable pdf file with more info on the artists.

The opening, I hear, is by invitation only.
