Born in 1960, Tran Luong is one of Hanoi’s best known artists. he is well known in the region not only as an artist (painting, installation, performance) but even more so as a curator. He is one of the very few in Vietnam who take curatorial work very seriously and practice professionally.
A few weeks ago Tran Luong undertook a journey to China, in order to learn more about the art scene there. China has recently gained international recognition for its remarkable achievements in contemporary art. Tran Luong will report on his experiences and impressions.
