The last three days of February, Nguyen Thu Ha, Nguyen The Son and Ha Manh Thang occupy the exhibition hall to question us about social, historical and economic realities through surprising artistic approaches addressing contemporary issues.
Nguyen Thu Ha is between two realities, one embodied by the beauty and attractiveness of tourist posters, and the other by a picture box. The dream and fantasy tourist confronted with the harshness of a hidden social reality.
Three series of large-format photographs representing three groups, three categories of people: enthusiastic, indifferent and worried while waiting… Nguyen The Son takes a look at social identification in today’s society.
Between the tradition and contemporary, what happened? Shimmering colors of a kitsch image juxtaposed with portraits of a man and a woman painted by Ha Manh Thang.
